An expat's pumpkin pie

I couldn't find the pie tin I was sure we had and I mistakenly bought puff pastry. But despite their dubious appearance, these pumpkin pie tartlets are still yummy.

We had another beautiful today here in the capital. Life is pretty good. Ruth and I are in love. we are heading to California in December! I didn't get into a writing course I wanted to get into, but I figure rejection is a part of creative life.

I'm excited about our baby future. Babies are popping out everywhere these days. My friend is in labor right now, in fact. Can't wait until it is our turn. Although, I know time will go fast.
