Smiles...and more smiles

Our gorgeous little boy is smiling. It seemed like a long wait for the first one but it was worth it. My heart still leaps whenever the corners of his mouth start to curl up.

We are still dealing with a few issues of pulling off the breast during nursing, much to the frustration of Manaaki and the Mamas. I've done a search on the web tonight and found some good information so hopefully we will sort it out.

In the meantime a few smiles make up for all of it.

Colic?

Maybe the boy has colic, maybe he just likes to scream till he's hoarse.
Either way, it's hard to watch.
Hey, he's still so cute.

One month tomorrow

It's hard to believe our little man will be one month old tomorrow. Time has gone by so fast.

What have we learned about Manaaki so far?
He loves a bath.
He loves to eat.
He's a good sleeper at night, thank you. But daytime is party time. So unless he's snuggled in someone's arms, he doesn't sleep.
And, he's gorgeous.
